USS Belknap Bridge

This is the bridge of the Belknap, the prototype starship of her class.

The Belknap-Class is a fan-created ship, designed by Todd Guenther in 1984 for the unofficial 'Starship Design: Interstellar Forum for Naval Power' publication.

I made this bridge to to try out some unique elements that don't fall under the usual 'TMP era' design language, such as the carpet on top of the metal floor, and the unique helm console. The fewer chairs on the bridge are indicative of the smaller size of this ship, when compared to a Constitution or Constellation-Class starship.

Created entirely using Free and Open Source Software (Blender and Inkscape) on Ubuntu Linux.
