USS Lalo - Deck 03: Main Sickbay

Due to its mission profile as a fast freighter operating within Federation space, Lalo was never expected to come into contact with hostile species or dangerous spatial anomalies. At the same time, the ship’s fast engines meant in case of emergency it was never too far from at least one Federation member world or starbase.

The medical facilities on board were thus minimal, with sickbay having just two biobeds and an integrated working area for the ship’s chief medical officer. The expectation was that the only medical needs on board would be treating the occasional mild intra-ship disease or performing simple surgeries in case of cargo-handling accidents.
