Captain Hoffman’s ready room was an austere and efficient office space. Connected directly to the bridge, the room was her main workplace when her presence wasn’t required elsewhere while on duty.
Besides the standard work desk and accompanying chairs, the room featured a large sofa below two windows looking starboard. Next to said sofa was a small open credenza where the captain often had a coffee carafe on hand. The replicator was placed on a small side corridor behind the desk, which also led to a small lavatory.
Instead of a more traditional model of the USS Thunderchild itself or of another starship she served on, Captain Hoffman had a model of the fictitious HMS Thunder Child in her office, the inspiration after which her starship was named.
