The corridor under red alert

Following the same approach used on other specialized ships of the era, the corridors on Budapest were devoid of superfluous design elements, and uniform in their appearance throughout the ship. While presented here in their pristine configuration after having left spacedock, it wasn’t uncommon for the Corps of Engineers teams stationed on the ship to remove wall panels and have various pieces of equipment jerry-rigged all over some corridor segments.
